Tailgate gas grills are the exact sort of cooking device that is perfect for eating great grilled food before heading out to the game. Unlike charcoal models, these units are clean and very portable. They are also much less dangerous as they are less likely to have an accident. With that in mind, they are also a cheap way to fuel your fire and come in an array of sizes that can match before your grilling wants and financial needs.

You probably won't want and just simply can't practically use a full size unit that you would have for your home. These are large with unnecessary amenities for the stadium. They would be difficult and possibly dangerous to move around, so your best option is a portable model. When looking over the units, consider models that fold and unfold to give yourself a bit more control when transporting. Models that have covers are especially good as they cook food much faster and more evenly than just a straight grill. Also, find models with easily detachable propane tanks so you don't have to hassle with the extra space they consume when moving them around.

Finally, consider how much you actually want to grill. If it's only a couple people, you can definitely suffice with a smaller model rather than just buying the biggest one around. You can be surprised how much food can come out of a miniature grill in a short amount of time.
