Picnic Themes
Picnic themes can run the gambit from children's parties to exciting fun for adults as well. What you decide and who it's for can greatly affect how to best plan and you what you'll need to get the best out of the experience. A few suggestions are here to help get you started.
One of the more recent types of picnicking events for adults is wine picnics. You can now get special wine hampers that will not only hold and keep wine bottles chilled, but also will protect delicate stemware that was simply too easy to break before. These kits will also have little extras like wine keys to keep everything together in one convenient spot. In the same vein, there are also coffee hampers that keep thermoses and coffee cups as well as beans in special pockets and straps.
Another good idea for a theme is to pick a special kind of food to enjoy. This usually means exploring some of the world cuisines through a sampling of their finger foods. This is a fun way to explore new foods and enjoy the weather at the same time. For example, you can explore French food with rustic breads, wine, and some of their famous cheeses like brie and camembert. Or try out Italian salamis and olives mix with bread dosed with balsamic and olive oil. Or some German beer with bratwursts.
Of course, you can do whatever you find most interesting, but shoot for having every element fit into the heart of idea behind your picnic.
