Picnic Tables

Picnic tables aren't necessary for every picnicking experience, but they are quite helpful when you sit down to eat and don't have to spend the afternoon on a blanket hunched over your food, curling your back in a very uncomfortable way that can quite frankly follow you for the next week. For many picnicking areas these are already available to you as part of a camping area or city park. Additionally, there are many portable models that you can bring to your picnicking area or purchase for your own home.

Regardless of whether you purchase it or you find a table at a picnicking area, you'll definitely need a nice tablecloth. These come in a huge variety of colors and sizes that can match almost any sized table. There are of course classic designs like the red and white checkered cloth, but you can also find more modern arrangements that might be to your liking. Additionally, there are a variety of materials such as cotton, plastic, and vinyl available, each with their own drawbacks and benefits. Your tastes and practicality aside, you should definitely get a set of tablecloth clamps that will make sure your cloth stays put.

If you're considering purchasing a table of your own for travel, pick a light model made of strong durable material. All of these will probably have collapsible legs that will make them easy to carry and transportable.

Depending upon your set up, you may need chairs as well. If you're head to a place that already has tables out, consider purchasing a set of cushions as the sturdy material may last, but is not always comfortable.
