Your tastes and practicality aside, you should definitely get a set of tablecloth clamps that will make sure your cloth stays put.

If you're considering purchasing a table of your own for travel, pick a light model made of strong durable material. All of these will probably have collapsible legs that will make them easy to carry and transportable.

Depending upon your set up, you may need chairs as well. If you're head to a place that already has tables out, consider purchasing a set of cushions as the sturdy material may last, but is not always comfortable.
