Picnic Baskets on Wheels

Picnic baskets on wheels are an especially practical accessory that can make a day out picnicking much easier and more relaxing, which is, after all, the whole point of going out picnicking. For many, lugging around a basket or cooler to haul their food and supplies can be a real pain. Baskets are boxy and so carrying them can be quite difficult as compared to other bags. They nonetheless are very helpful for storing food and other accessories since their interior protects and balances them, as opposed to a backpack or other bag.

With the addition of wheels, the awkward part of moving around with a basket is eliminated. Just like a caddy has been helpful in other domestic areas as with luggage and for students, wheels let you put the weight on the ground and you can just roll your basket rather than carry it. This usually requires some sort of handlebar to pull the basket along, though some models have simply a strap. The handlebars will collapse down after use for convenient storage.

Depending upon how you are going to use it, this may or may not be the right option for you. For picnic areas and other designated spots with trails, this is a great choice. For beaches and other uneven terrains, it will probably just end up being carried anyways, so it's best to have a separate basket for these circumstances.

Find a model with strong wheels with traction. It'll just be a normal basket again if the wheels crack, after all.
