Picnic Areas

In camping areas, there is usually signs and equipment setup to let picnickers know exactly where to put down. These are usually in place for your convenience, but they can also serve as a place that is not known for animals frequenting nearby to become attracted to the food. It is wise idea to follow these guidelines for your own safety.
Beaches are probably one of the most open spaces to sit down for picnicking. However, be sure to watch out of any signs forbidding such activity as many beaches are protected by environmental regulations that are intended to protect the local wildlife and ecosystem.
In the city, parks are the most common place to go picnicking. In these places, there are often tables, chairs, barbecue pits, trash cans, and other amenities to help you efficiently and enjoyably picnic. You can usually set down wherever you like and there is typically enough space for everyone to have their own bit of space.
So depending upon where you are at or headed, be aware of appropriate signs and rules regarding picnicking as they are for both your own and the rest of nature's safety and comfort.
