Football Tailgating

Football tailgating is the classic tailgate event. In no other realm, do we see the devotion of fans and the festivity of the sporting event than at a good stadium tailgate. At this assemblage of people eating and celebrating their team is a great way to psyche yourself up for the game and even to save a bit of money when you finally get in the stadium. What is it about football exactly? Probably no one can say for sure, but in either case, it is well worth taking part in the festivities.

What all is involved? For many this is an open question. For some it simply sitting down with a small grill on the back of a truck, cooking a few burgers, and enjoy drinks before heading inside. For others, it may be an all-day event that requires heavy planning involving long cooking times, costumes, and music. For everyone, it's basically the same idea, to really enjoy the game as more than just two competing teams and instead enjoy the social aspect of bonding with other fans over food and drinks.

For anyone who hasn't been involved, it's well worth the effort. It involves just simply getting some food, showing up early, and hanging out in the parking lot. You'll meet other fans and be well fed. It's also the chance to do an activity with friends and family and spend some time together that may have been spent simply watching the game. It's also a great chance to expand your cooking skills as well.
