Folding Chairs

Folding chairs are a convenient and space saving piece of lawn furniture or travel accessory that can make a day outdoors much more comfortable than sitting around on the hard ground or sandy beach. There's been a lot of development from different manufacturers the last few years, creating multiple lines of chairs designed specifically for eating or different places like the woods or at the beach. When you are out looking for a new chair for the outdoors, there are couple models you'll run across.

The sports chair is probably the most advanced model as far as folded units go. This isn't a Lazy-Z-Boy or anything like that. No this is a compact model that yields a lot of comfort without taking up a bunch of space or weighing a lot. As the name implies, these models are mean to be sat in for an extended period of time, such as watching a sports event, so they are made to feel soft and supporting for a long period of time. Additionally, they include a few amenities such as drink holders in their arms. Many models do have this, but the sports model also includes a folding table along the side that can be flipped up when eating so you won't have to balance a plate on your lap.

Another model that breaks the usual style of chairs that fold flat are the units that fold outward and inward so that you have a normal chair that folds into a long set of poles. These are much easier to carry than most, but since they don't fold flat, they are perhaps not as easy to transport in a vehicle.
