Fitted Picnic Tablecloth

A fitted picnic tablecloth is a model that has been wanted for years. As the name implies, these fun units keep you cloth firmly grounded to your table. It can be anything from the wind, rowdy kids, or just somebody mistakenly catching the cloth on their person, but something seems to always mess with the cloth whenever you're having a picnic, which leads to messes, wasted food, and stained cloths. In the past, a simple weight or a careful distribution of drinks helped to solve this problem, but these methods are no longer necessary.

There are two basic types of cloths that allow you to gain this security. The first is just like a shower cap. Elastic straps snuggly fit the cloth around the table you're using and keep it there. These are usually made of plastic. Unfortunately, these only work on tables that you know the size beforehand. If you're headed to a park or campsite this may not be an option. Furthermore, the constant stretching can be hard on the cloth and lead to it being worn out more quickly.

The other option is a series of clamps that securely lock down any cloth. These often come with different packages, but they can also be purchased separately. Some models are made to match the color of your cloth as well, great if you have one of the classic styles like the red and white checkerboard. These units fit almost any table and cloth so they are probably one of the better choices for the more robust picnicker.
