Can Coolers
Can coolers are an emblematic accessory for sports fans. Always designed with a sports team logo on there, many Americans proudly stick their beers or sodas in these to keep their beverages cool and support their team. However, this isn't all it need be. When the weather gets hot and you're out picnicking, tailgating, or just outside barbecuing, a beverage can go from ice cold to warm in the space of ten minutes, especially when you've got your hand wrapped around it. One of these models is a great choice to keep your beverage cool and refreshing despite the heat.
The most common and cheapest kind is the koozies. These are the simple foam devices that wrap around most cans and bottles. These simply fit around your beverage and cool the coldness in and keep the warmth of your hand and the surrounding air from getting inside. These are cheap and easy to use, but not always effective for the long run.
The superior option that takes a bit more prepping is the frozen models. Using water or some other cooling liquid, you freeze these ahead of time and then when you're ready to drink, you slide them around your drink. They provide a constant source of cold as if you were drinking your beverage in a refrigerator. Aside from the time involved, they do have a couple drawbacks. First, many models don't have a layer between the cooling liquid and your hand. Basically you end up chilling your hand. Second, as the liquid melts, a large amount of moisture builds up and can drip everywhere.
