Beverage Coolers

People these days take their drinks seriously. Whether it's wine, beer, or any other beverage, people are discovering that controlling the temperature and holding of it can really affect the final flavor in profound ways. This seems obvious for wine, but the same is true for many other drinks. The quality of the ice can even have a great impact. Simple acts, like constantly opening the refrigerator door can drop the temperature quickly, again affecting the flavor. To give beverages the attention they deserve, beverage coolers have become a staple in many people's homes.

The most common of these is probably the wine cave. Most people won't have a properly chilled cellar to store their wines in at home. Most people don't even have basements anyhow. The refrigerator may be a convenient spot to quickly cool a wine, but it's not a good storage space. On the counter is just as bad, where the wine is exposed to repeated temperature and light changes throughout the day. Wine, to maintain its flavor, needs a good low constant temperature. A wine cave keeps the temperature at around 60 degrees, which will work to preserve the flavor it had when it left the winery's caves.

Another is the kegerator. As the name implies, these fridges hold kegs and have a tap on the top or on the door that will dispense beer. Some beers only come in kegs and they just simply taste better this way. Moreover, if you happen to have a keg, there's just no way to chill it aside from putting it in your normal fridge, which can be very dangerous.
